Wittgenstein would not be amused

Ludwig Wittgenstein had many interesting things to say about language. One particularly relevant quote for painfulenglish.com reads [1,2]

The limits of my language mean the limits of my world.

The original German version is [2]

Die Grenzen meiner Sprache bedeuten die Grenzen meiner Welt.

Quite remarkably, while searching for this quote online, I noticed that two of the most highly ranked websites for quotes, brainyquotes.com and quotes.thefameouspeople.com, quote Wittgenstein incorrectly as

The limits of my language means the limits of my world.

Ironically, the extra s makes this quote about the importance of language ungrammatical! Unless they have read my post and corrected the mistake, you can see it yourself here and here.
